Scriptural passages that encourages us to be strong





God’s intention for men is to be strong and healthy no matter the situation he found himself. Knowing this therefore, there are numerous Bible passages that encourages us to be strong in the Lord.
We may face great challenges in life but God encourages us to be strong and never be a jerry fish because it is written that in Him we will be tried and persecuted but those who do know their God shall be strong and do exploit.


In this post, I want to highlight some of the verses in the scripture that encourages us to be strong, knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

1.       Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, not be afraid of them; for the lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.


2.       Joshua 1:9
Have  not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid,  neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goes.

3.         1 Chronicles 22:13
Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfill the status and judgments which the Lord charges Moses with concerning Isreal: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

4.       2 chronicles 32:7
Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the  king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him.

5.       Job 17:9
The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

6.       Isaiah 35:4
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong,  fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with spiritual a recompense; he will come and save you.

7.       1 Corinthians 16:13
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like  men, be strong.

8.       Ephesians 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

9.       2 Timothy 2:1
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

10.   Haggai 2:4
Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel,  saith the Lord; and be strong O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and a strong, all ye people of the Lord, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord.
