Filled Under:

Are you heartbroken?

When you experience heartbreak, you need to bring yourself to terms with the truth that if that person was really meant to be with you, he/she would still be there... So? Let the person go if he/she decides to walk...When I say let go, I mean letting them go emotionally too.

Let your heart truly heal by forgiving first, yourself and second, the person. If we are honest with ourselves, we will agree that if we don't feel comfortable with a thing, we sure will either bear it up but letting it go might be our ideal option.
We should think same of others. You don't have to blame yourself for being a 'fool' all along. No. You sure need to forgive yourself for not having known better and also forgive the person for that act of wanting a release out of what might have become a burden. Truly, it is not the end of the world so forgive them and let karma catch up on them.

Let's be honest, most relationships start with good intentions but they just get sore along the way. When it comes to that, it sure takes someone that will want to spend the rest of his/her life with you for better or worse to really swim through that unsavory tide with you. Honestly, it is better you separate before taking a leap into marriage with someone that will bail on you or might not have the capacity to bond with you through life's storms..

Relationships have their ups and downs, highs and lows. If you find yourself in the low and your spouse decides to hit the road, oh well, welcome the tears if you must but allow it wash through you and rise out of it all. Truly, there is sunshine and a good rainbow whenever a washing flood ends. Enjoy the sunshine.
Are you heart broken? Pick up yourself from it all and allow God to put you back together. Focus on your pursuits and efforts that will add value to you and others. Often, whomever will spend his/her life with you will eventually show up. What you do while waiting really does matter. Don't go about keeping a long list of ex boyfriends/girlfriends. There is life outside unwholesome relationships.

And if you are hurting, I'll leave you with these words from a friend of mine on Facebook:
"One day, someone will walk into your life and make you see why it never worked out with anyone else..."
